About

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Academic Collaborative Center Resilient Democratic Society at Tilburg University, the Netherlands. I will mainly work under the Democracy & Civil Vitality theme of the center to develop normative frameworks to inform the design and governance of digital democratic innovations. I will also be working closely with the other themes—Digital Sovereignty, Cyber Resilience, and Art & Critical Cultural Heritage—to develop projects that aim towards an inclusive, humane, and resilient society.

I am also a PhD candidate at the Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam (defense and graduation date: March 27, 2026). My dissertation is on Deliberative Representation in Formal Philosophy. Using social choice and normative democratic theory, I address issues in how the representativeness of deliberative bodies is conceptualized and operationalized.

I am an ambassador for the Diamond Open Access Expertise Centre in the Netherlands, where I was also a team member and interim project lead. I am on the editorial oversight board of the Diamond Open Access Erasmus Journal for Philosophy and Economics, where I have also served as chief editor and editorial assistant.
